Manish Pradhan, born a long time ago – ages in computer years. In September 1985, you know, the month Super Mario Bros. video game was released by Nintendo.

I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Computers have kinda always been a part of my life. In fact, it was computer games that fascinated me more than anything. I can still remember myself playing Prince of Persia for endless hours like it was yesterday. So: been there, done that!

I realized there is more to computers than just games and decided to take computers for my career. I ended up in web development.

I have been developing websites since 2007. I quickly came across the CMS system Joomla. Most of my web developing activities has had to do with Joomla. I am doing stuff on all kinds of areas: web design, setups, templating, custom Joomla extensions, content management… This website however is powered by Wordpress because it suits my needs perfectly.

Anyway, that all says pretty much nothing about who I am; only what I do.

So, now I am 24 years old. I’m single but in a relationship. I work full time at a NGO called RIDS-Nepal (Rural Integrated Development Services-Nepal) as the IT Manager. I just finished designing a new website for it. If you are interested you can view it right now here.

Off course, the computer swallows a lot of my time, but I have other interests too. I love music. I love most kinds. Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, GnR, Eminem, REM and Bob Dylan are some of my favorites. I also like listening to Bollywood songs occasionally.

Let me see, what else….oh did I mention I love playing PC games ? I absolutely love them. My latest obsession is Warcraft DOTA. I tried to stop playing a few years back when I was in Uni but soon realized that – it wasn’t gaming that was interfering with my life, it was my life interfering with my gaming. That’s when I stopped fighting the temptation and started playing even more ….LOL

The rest of my time is spent with my family and friends.
